you have a real talent with graphic design. It does not always translate to Textiles….you need to step into the world of pattern, fashion, interiors for a little while to get a feel. These are too static for textiles. Let go of your graphic design schooling when you design pattern…I’ve been doing textiles for 12 years. A lot of successful textile/pattern designers are illustrators or painters. They don’t think “graphically” all the time..so they are not as rigid. Good Luck!
